Collaborations with Estampe

We regularly collaborate with new artists (established and emerging). We work together on the creation, then the brand handles development, communication, and sales. The artist receives a commission on each candle sold.

If you wish to join the adventure, here are the conditions for 2026. Please send your portfolio or Instagram profile via the contact form to assess the consistency of your creations with what we are looking for.



  1. Artists:

-The artist possesses a strong personal universe.

-The artist predominantly draws by hand.

-Their creations can be adapted to the Estampe technique (no shades of gray, reduced number of colors per illustration).


  1. How it works

Together, we discuss the creation of the candle.

We seek the story that the candle will convey, in relation to the artist's work, with the aim of having a strong link with their overall work, their personality, but also with the brand's clientele.

Once the universe is found and the style targeted with the help of the artist's previous works, we ask the artist to create a sketch.

A template is provided to the artist.

Once the sketch is completed and approved, the final illustration can be created.

This will then be digitized to create a cliché that will serve as a matrix for stamping the candles. We thus obtain an illustration without nuances, as in engraving processes.


We then take care of the candle production with our pad printing collaborators in Burgundy.



  1.  Artist Communication

We create all communication materials that the artist may use if they wish.

We produce a short video portrait + a series of photos.


  1. Production and marketing

Estampe finances the production tools and handles the production of candles in the workshops, as well as marketing and communication. The artist may, if they wish, sell the candles on their website to benefit from reseller margins.


  1. Sales system:

5.1 Commissions on Estampe sales

-As of 2026, we aim to value each creation through royalty payments.

-Conditions are evaluated and adjusted annually if necessary to allow the brand to grow steadily while optimally remunerating each person.

-The commission is €1 (excluding VAT) per candle sold in 2026, paid upon receipt of the invoice or royalty note from the artist in January of each year. Royalties are paid for each candle sold (website, resellers, collaborations).

-To enable this remuneration, the public price of the candles will start from €50 (including VAT) and may increase depending on the number of colors in the illustration.

-Remuneration is based on the gross margin of the candles at reseller price. This allows the brand to evolve in different markets while investing in communication for the e-commerce part.

5.2 License

-The rights to the illustration are assigned to the brand for a period of one year and are renewed annually.

-The artist may cancel the usage rights of the work at the end of the year (from date to date). In this case, Estampe may sell already produced items until stocks are depleted.

-Estampe reserves the right to discontinue the marketing of a model.


5.3 Sales network

  1. Estampe website

Each candle is offered for sale on the website. Each candle has its own product page as well as an artist portrait page to present the artist and their universe.

  1. Resellers

Candles are available to partner boutiques for distribution in physical points of sale.


  1. Direct sales by the artist.

Subject to agreement with the brand, the artist may sell the candles directly on their website. They will then have reseller conditions on purchases and resale with a 50% margin for sales. (Minimum order of x4 candles)


  1. Collaborations

In collaboration with other brands, hotels, and influencers, the Estampe brand wishes to offer co-branded and custom candles: We create a custom illustration with the help of one of the collaborating artists. The illustration is paid for by package in advance commission.
