Perfumer for a Summer

This summer, the young candle brand Estampe invited the public to co-create its next fragrance called "Feu de joie" (Bonfire), based on the theme of a wood fire, which will be available in November 2025 in Estampe's artist candles.

Collaborative Fragrance

Last August, Estampe engaged its audience. To create its next limited edition fragrance, it offered an online questionnaire on its website, allowing the public to vote for their favorite olfactory note. The result will be a collaborative fragrance, a trio effort between Estampe, its audience, and perfumers from Grasse.

Wood Fire

The fragrance's theme is wood fire: an olfactory note dear to the brand, evoking evening fires, mountain hikes, and a meditative, contemplative atmosphere. Building on this foundation, the brand invited the public to complete the fragrance's universe by choosing a complementary olfactory note from nine options.

The vote resulted in three selected notes:

  • Sandalwood in first place
  • Tonka bean in second
  • Vetiver in third place

Mood Board and Off to Grasse

With these results visible on the website, the brand created a brief and mood board for the perfumers in Grasse, who will imagine the final fragrance.

Ephemeral Release in November 2025

Updates on the creation process are offered to the Estampe community (newsletter subscription on the website) who will discover the results and help finalize the fragrance creation. The final product will be available online as a candle or refill.
