With "Sauvage", Lorette Cld takes the viewer into a fantastical world, lush and bustling with life. The artist blends fine-point drawing, ink and spontaneous gesture to decorate this matte porcelain scented candle. A parallel universe unfolds: vegetation takes the lead, and a few mysteries hide in the landscape for those who take the time to look.

From paper to porcelain

It all begins on paper. Lorette Cld creates several original illustrations by hand, using her own techniques: ink, pencil, fine point. Only one is kept for Estampe, then reworked by the artist to fit the shape of the shell.

The design is then applied to the porcelain by pad-printing craftswomen, based across the Loire from the workshop where the candles are made.

Your fragrance

Each Estampe candle is available with one of our signature fragrances, or in an unscented version. Production follows the workshop’s rhythm: only a few pieces each month.

• Handmade in France, from the vessel to the wax pouring.

• Vegetable wax, 200g, approx. 40h burn time. Refillable with the cannelé.

Lid snuffer and tray sold separately.
